Der iOS Autocomplete Song

Dem ein oder anderen ist Jonathan Mann vielleicht ein Begriff: Seit rund fünf Jahren veröffentlicht er jeden Tag einen neuen Song auf YouTube – mal mehr, mal weniger ernst gemeint, aber fast immer mit einem Bezug auf aktuellere Themen. So zum Beispiel auch bezüglich iOS 8 beziehungsweise die neue QuickType-Tastatur, welche nun während des Tippens Wortvorschläge anzeigt. Funktioniert nach einiger Zeit überraschend gut, auch was die Trennung der Vorschläge zwischen den Kontakten angeht – bei eurer Freundin könnten also andere Wortvorschläge angezeigt werden, als es zum Beispiel bei einem Arbeitskollegen der Fall ist.

Jonathan Mann ist nun einmal hingegangen und hat diesem Autocomplete-Feature einen eigenen Song spendiert. Oder besser gesagt: Er hat der Funktion selbst das Schreiben des Songs überlassen. Klar macht der Text doch recht wenig Sinn da die Autovervollständigung lediglich Wortvorschläge anhand der eigenen Wortvorschläge machen und nutzen konnte – dennoch ein empfehlenswerter Song, der sicherlich in Sachen Lyrik mit einigen aktuellen Songs aus den Charts mithalten kann.
